It's been a busy year here at Tidy Bytes, and all of you know how many topics we've covered. Rather than throw another one at you today, I invite everyone to set aside any data mess you happen to be working through or worrying about in favor of things that are ultimately more meaningful.
It's easy to get wrapped up in projects, focusing on our desired outcomes and trying to find the best way to achieve our goals. There's nothing inherently wrong with this; sometimes, this consuming focus can help us quickly progress. But it's not good to live in this condition all the time, week after week. We're not designed to operate like machines.
Today, on Christmas Eve and the days following, focus on the people in your life instead.
Data organization can wait. Friendship is better than an empty inbox. Spend time with your family instead of sorting photos of them.
We'll get back to the tech stuff shortly. For now, I want you to know how thankful I am for all of you who are part of this little data organization community we're building.
I wish you the merriest of Christmases!
